Pine co-founded Tioro Educational Tools, a Māori language learning community that promotes waste minimisation and environment based learning.
As a facilitator Pine weaves his practical and academic knowledge for the environment with a particular focus on a student led approach for sustainability and longevity.
Pine also facilitates the Para Kore programme on Marae, Kura and Kohanga Reo in the Tairawhiti.
