​Professional Profile 
Shanon is a Lead PLD facilitator for Learning Leaders. Shanon is also the founder and director of Tōnui Collab, an education lab specialising in STEM education. Her teaching career has spanned primary, secondary and tertiary levels of the education system with the focus being predominantly the adoption of digital tools for enhancing learning. Shanon is committed to using STEM learning (science, technology, engineering, maths) as a lens for exploring localised curriculum and specifically the pūrākau o te ao Māori. Shanon is a member of 2021 Homeward Bound cohort - a ground-breaking, global leadership initiative that aims to heighten the influence and impact of women in making decisions that shape our planet.
